Swedish Massage: A
totally relaxing, full body massage specially designed to coax out those
pockets of tension. This technique uses 5 different moves: Effleurage (long gliding
strokes); Petrissage (kneading, rolling, wringing); Tapotement (tapping);
Vibration (rocking/shaking); and Friction (circular/perpendicular motions). One of the primary goals is to relax the entire body
allowing you to feel restored from the stress and strain of modern life. Benefits
can include an increase of oxygen in the blood, improvement in circulation and
flexibility, boosts the immune system, eliminates toxins, lowers blood pressure
and eases tension.

Reiki: A
technique for stress reduction and relaxation. It is based on the idea that an
unseen ‘life force energy’ flows through us and is administered by the laying
of hands on the clothed body. If one’s ‘life force energy’ is low then one is
likely to feel stressed or become ill, if it is high one is more capable of
being more energetic, happy and healthy. Reiki treats the whole person (body,
mind and spirit) creating feelings of peace and wellbeing.

Personal Training: These
sessions can either be on a one-to-one basis or share them with a friend. An
initial physical analysis will be conducted to enable a regime to be created specifically
for you. You will then be guided through your health and fitness development which
will also include general health and nutrition guidelines. The exercise sessions
will motivate you to reach your goals whether short term or long term. They
will be progressive, demanding and challenging and with your commitment,
deliver results.
